About Me

Giving students an individualized and interactive learning experience is very important to me. It is one thing to learn a subject in the rigid way offered by a classroom or textbook. It is another thing entirely to have someone there by your side who adapts your path to address your needs in the most efficient and fun way possible. That's the approach I take with my students. I create a welcoming learning environment that fosters critical thinking, confidence, problem-solving skills, and fuller conceptual understanding, no matter what grade level or subject my students want to learn. Students of all ages will find success much easier and more enjoyable by working with me. I love learning how people gain both emotional and traditional intelligence. I know what oft-overlooked techniques catapult people to success. I know what trips people up in attempts to outgrow their current skill set, both emotionally and intellectually. Plus, I am continually expanding my knowledge of these and other aspects of the process to becoming the best person one can become in life. My expertise in the principles of success informs everything I do as a tutor. For instance, I take care to address both intellectual concerns and the resultant emotional strain that often comes along with them. I help my students feel not only more comfortable with the subject matter, but also more comfortable with themselves. Students who work with me grow in confidence, understanding, capabilities, happiness, and ownership of their success.
