About Me

I am currently a student at New York University. Having lived in India for 9 years, my high school was at an International School, for which I was in the International Baccalaureate Program. My higher level classes were Economics, Biology, and English, while my standard level classes were mathematics, Spanish, and history. I Have great experience with the IB and am very familiar with the curriculum of the subjects that I took. I also have experience with SAT tutoring. Having been tutored myself for the SAT, I picked up on the various techniques required to bring up one's score. I was especially proficient in the english writing section. I was on the Varsity tennis team, played drums, and started an e-waste recycling initiative during my time in High School. Since joining NYU, my interests lie in Computer Science and Environmental Science. I am also a part of the Investment Analysis Group. I believe that education is imperative in any society. Having lived in India for the last 9 years of my life, I see it's importance even more. Teaching is easy, being a good teacher takes an entirely different level of care and understanding. I worked with underprivileged children of varying age groups. This allowed me to try varying approaches to see what teaching tactics work on who. I prefer to have a tailored approach for each student to maximize his or her potential.
