I am currently a graduate student in Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, and I received my BA in English Language and Literature from Yale University in 2010. Both in college and since graduation, I have gained extensive experience working with students in many subjects, with an emphasis on English, foreign languages, and History. I have been working in education, primarily in tutoring and afterschool programs, for the majority of my career, and there are few experiences I enjoy more than building relationships with students and watching them grow and develop as people and scholars. I love helping students gain both the academic knowledge to succeed and the confidence to know that even if they haven't seen a problem or task before, they will be able to figure it out. Having worked with students from a variety of backgrounds, I have learned how to adapt and adjust in order to meet my students where they are and help them reach their full academic potential. As both an educator and a counselor-in-training, I am deeply committed to forming strong one-on-one relationships with my students.
