About Me

I have been working in education for the past eighteen years. I have tutored a variety of subjects ranging from elementary school to high school. My area of concentration is mathematics however, I am state certified in the state of Texas to teach all subjects grades 4-8. I also have an ESL certification. There is nothing better than seeing a child finally understand a concept! Being able to make impact on a young persons life is my driving force. It is my belief that all children can and want to learn. Learning is the avenue to opportunities. It is my job to provide access points to children in order for them to grasp the information. My background in education, helps me to scaffold material while presenting lessons in creative ways. This helps the student to better understand the concept in different ways.
