I was a Bible Study teacher and coordinator for over 25 years. At one point in my career, I took a break from my technology career to pursue a career in education. I successfully completed several classes at Touro University in California. I started working as a substitute teacher in 2000. I taught students from elementary to high school. I received so much positive compliments from the staff until one day I was offered a position as a high school Math teacher. I taught Algebra I and Geometry for about 3 years until I became a single parent. Unfortunately, I had to leave teaching and go back into technology to support myself and my three children. Now that my children are grown, I am looking into going back into education in my spare time. I am starting out by tutoring. I also have accepted a position to teach children 6-12 years old (reading) in China online. I also plan to go back to school to pursue degree in education. I have always loved working with students and have often been told that this is my calling/gift.
