About Me

I have a strong interest and passion in the teaching career. With my past experiences working with both elementary and high school aged students, I feel that I have a diverse experience background that will bring a lot to this tutoring program. Throughout the years, I have developed a passion for the career and a love for inspiring learners. I am very interested in applying for your current open position as a tutor. As a 2013 graduate from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, I am fully equipped to begin a teaching career. I have had experience with children from age two to age eighteen, through my many experiences with schools while attending Duquesne University, through substitute teaching,and through full-time teaching this school year. I have had many experiences with suburban and urban school districts as well. My student teaching experience was in the third grade classroom in a suburban school outside of Pittsburgh and my current school is an urban school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Through my experiences at Duquesne University and afterwards, I have truly been able to develop a passion for teaching, and I feel that I am fully equipped with the necessary skills to become a great tutor. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my passion and enthusiasm, to make a positive contribution to your tutoring program.
