Over the past few years I have had the pleasure to teach these subjects to both elementary school students, in an environmental education camp, and fellow college students, as a peer tutor. I promote this learning by making analogies and other connections that the student not only relates to, but also finds interesting. In this manner I am not only able to make lessons exciting, but I also become energized myself. In the end my student always leaves with a fresh perspective, added strength in a previously weak subject area, and an increased passion for learning.
