About Me

I am currently working toward a TEFL certification that would allow me to teach English as a foreign language abroad. With Varsity Tutors, I tutor a wide range of subjects including biology, algebra, and English, as well as ACT and GRE prep. I employ a student-centered teaching style, encouraging students to think independently and draw their own conclusions about the content. In my free time, I enjoy appreciating and composing music and literature, and take an active role in grassroots politics. Hobbies: writing, books, music, art, reading, cooking
