About Me

I am currently a senior at American University studying Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. I am currently working with second grade students in my student teaching placement, but I also have experience with students ranging from grades K-5. Helping students learn is my passion. When tutoring, I first try and understand what the student already knows and what direction they are heading in. From there, I can better help the student achieve their goals. Additionally, every student learns differently. Because of this, I believe it is essential to teach multiple methods to students and let them decide which one works for them. As a future educator, I get excited to see students learning and thriving. I also enjoy reading, dancing, and crocheting in my free time. I am an energetic, passionate, and determined tutor.
