At Penn, I was also a top math tutor for the universitys peer tutoring department, where I worked with students both individually and in small group settings. The time I spent helping students achieve their academic goals was among the most rewarding of my college experience. Since graduating, I have continued to tutor students as a volunteer with several non-profit groups. As a result, I have worked with students across a wide range of ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. The feedback I hear most from students is that I am very patient with them, especially when it comes to working through difficult concepts. I strive to create a friendly and supportive dynamic with my students so they feel safe enough to not only ask questions but also to make mistakes, as I strongly believe mistakes can often lead to the best learning experiences.
