About Me

I am a former high school English teacher. I have Master's degree in secondary English education and an undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I taught tenth and twelfth grade English to both AP and general classes and am AP College Board certified. In graduate school, I focused specifically on the works of Shakespeare, lyric poetry and modern and post-modern American literature. I have also taught journalism and public speaking.
