About Me

I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Biology, and have recently completed my MD degree as well. I have tutored many students in the basic sciences such as Chemistry,Organic chemistry, Biology,Pharmacology, and Physiology. I have also tutored Medical Students for their 3 part boards Step 1,2 and 3. I have also worked extensively with Bilingual students (primarily Spanish speaking) with all forms of their Homework assignments. Spanish is my second language at home. I am entirely fluent in conversational Spanish and have a college level proficiency in reading and writing. I work with each of my students and help them attain their academic goals by treating them as individuals with individual needs. I always help each student create a study schedule for their individual classes. I have learned as a student myself, and by working with other students, that no one lacks the intelligence to attain their goals, rather planning and making realistic schedules and goals is the primary step in working towards academic success. I am very hands on and review homework, go over questions on assignments, review and help make notes. I am also very easily reached by all of my students via phone and email. I look forward to helping every one of my students individually, and have usually seen anywhere between a 10-20 point increase and higher in my students. I have learned that with the right mentality and help anyone can succeed towards their educational needs. I look forward to working with you.
