About Me

I am a Counseling Master’s degree candidate at Texas State University and have a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. I have completed some course work in Public Affairs at the University of Texas. I have tutored students in after school programs and believe that one-on-one tutoring has a great positive effect on a student’s focus and learning abilities. During my education and experience, I have learned that not everyone has the same learning curve and approach. I strive to meet students where they are and work with them to discover the learning method(s) that best suit them. Practice is an essential part of learning, thus I work to keep students engaged in learning activities outside of tutoring as well.
