Currently I teach 7th grade math in Mesa, Arizona. I am in my thirteenth year of teaching (I taught sixth-grade/all content areas for the first 11 years of my career). I am capable of tutoring all core elementary subjects and tutoring math at the middle grades/junior high level. I received my Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Portland State University, and later a Masters Degree in Teaching from George Fox University. I have previously tutored students in after school programs for Mesa Public Schools. One of my favorite things to do is read, I read some sort of non-fiction every night before going to bed. I am a huge sports fan, of the Portland Trailblazers and Oregon Ducks in particular! I look forward to meeting with you online or in person and helping you to reach your academic goals!
