About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Florida (Go Gators!). I have six years of teaching experience, and three years experience in private tutoring. I work with all levels of students ranging from Exceptional Education (ESE) to accelerated programs such as Advanced Placement (AP)/ Dual Enrollment/ Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE). As a former AP/Dual Enrollment student and college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in History, I am an excellent source for writing and editing papers. But do not let my degree fool you My favorite subject to tutor is math. Math can overwhelm students because many math problems can be solved in multiple ways. I would start by encouraging students to use their intuition to solve a problem, assisting them if needed. As they gain confidence, I would expose them to different and quicker methods for solving similar problems. After all, less time spent on homework equals more time for fun. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, photography, piano, exercise, and spending time at the beach.
