Learning is a collaborative effort and I work with my students to guarantee my lessons meet their needs and expectations. I believe anyone can succeed in math, it is a matter of finding a way to relate to the material. I have a broad background - with degrees in engineering and liberal arts - and will work with you to relate material to your strengths and interests. My professional background is in aerospace engineering and software development, where I applied math to real world problems on a daily basis. I look forward to helping you whether you are struggling to grasp basic concepts or want to deepen your understanding of theory and application. I am enthusiastic about learning. I break complicated material down into digestible components, I have good study skills, and my interdisciplinary background allows me to relate disparate material to subjects in which students are strongest.
