I am a PhD candidate in the field of environmental studies (Antioch University New England). Previously, I received a BA in psychology (George Fox University) and a Masters of Divinity (Princeton Theological Seminary). My varied disciplinary background makes me an ideal tutor in many fields, and I enjoy them all: the humanities, History, the Sciences, Math, politics, Social Sciences, religion, and care for the planet. I enjoy reading others' writing and helping create a finished product that shares the author's intended meaning clearly. I am an adjunct professor for undergraduates and masters students, so I know what college professors expect in a paper. I am also available to help you prepare for standardized tests, including the GED, SAT, and GRE.When I'm not involved in academic work, I enjoy being active: running, biking, hiking, and spending time outside. I like to garden, and eat healthy food I grew myself. I have young kids who keep me on the go, always challenging me to learn new things and explore the world in different ways. As your tutor, I hope to get to know you and your interests, your goals, and your passions, and to connect the subjects we work on to your particular goals and interests.
