About Me

I am a graduate of The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and Oakland University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on American Politics from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and my Masters of Public Administration from Oakland University. Since graduation, I have worked as a healthcare consultant for a number of leading firms, which has afforded me some real world examples that I can use with students. During my graduate studies, I worked as a long term substitute teacher. This is where I developed my passion for teaching and educating. I also have experience tutoring private clients in the Metro Detroit area. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math, Writing, and Social Studies. In my experience helping struggling students, students need a tutor who is very patient and willing to move at the student's pace. I am a firm believer in the power of education. I think education is critical in helping people maximize their potential. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, reading, coaching, and blogging.
