I am currently a graduate student a Quinnipiac University in their Biomedical Science Master's program. However, in the fall I will be transferring to a PhD program in the Chemistry department at Wesleyan University. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern CT State University with a BS in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry in May of 2012. I have two years of tutoring experience at SCSU and I am looking forward to meeting more students through Varsity Tutors. I love science, especially where Chemistry and Biology overlap, and I enjoy teaching others about science and why I love it so much. I come from a more unique background than most recent graduates. I did not attend college right after high school. In fact, it was several years before I returned to college. My experience during that time was invaluable and taught me the importance of higher education. When I returned to college, I worked while studying full time, and I was able to graduate in four years, right on time. I enjoy working with younger people and motivating them to do their best in their academic endeavors. I will do my very best to help your student with their educational needs and hopefully impart my love of math and science to them.
