About Me

My passion is teaching in any format, whether it be in a classroom or tutoring setting. I have a degree in Secondary Education and History and have taught 8th grade U.S. History as well as 12th grade Economics and Government for the past 3 years. I also have a strong background in Mathematics and have tutored several students as high as Algebra II. The reason I love tutoring is that I can individualize the learning for each person I tutor based on their needs and strengths. I do this by finding out how the people I am tutoring learn best and use that information to tailor the tutoring sessions to their strengths. At the same time, I will help them overcome their weaknesses in order to make it easier for them to adapt in a classroom setting. I hope to be able to have the chance to help you be more successful in all aspects of the classroom.
