I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2019 with a degree in molecular and cellular biology. In 2022, I graduated from physician assistant school and am now a licensed PA-C.

I am passionate about writing and literature. During my undergraduate studies, I read over 500 books for personal and academic reasons. These texts ranged in time period, genre, and field-- allowing me to possess diverse knowledge and experiences. I also have written for personal and creative reasons as well as academic researched based work. I am also an MFA in Writing student at Columbia University.

I'm a current student at Johns Hopkins University pursuing a bachelor's in both Neuroscience and Molecular & Cellular Biology. My favorite subjects to tutor are biology, chemistry, psychology, art history, and environmental science on both a high school and Advanced Placement level. Alongside those subjects, I am comfortable teaching middle school and lower level high school math and science, and I offer test preparation for both the SAT and ACT. Outside of academics, I like to train for memory sports, and my current goal is to set a Guinness World Record for memorizing the most decimal places of the irrational number phi. In my previous tutoring experience, I have not only helped teach the subject matter at hand, but I have also guided students on how to improve their study habits in general.

I am currently living and working in the city and have always enjoyed learning. I want to be able to help students find their own joy of learning and I believe tutoring can really help them with that. Being able to understand a subject and come to that understanding on your own, with that little "ah ha!" in the back of your head is an amazing feeling. I believe that tutoring provides guidance for students who may need some extra help to get to that "ah ha" moment. Hello! My name is Gabe, and I am a master's student at Johns Hopkins University studying Environmental Epidemiology and Biostatistics. I graduated from NYU in 2024 and studied environmental sciences and public health. I learned to have a passion for statistics since I found myself using it in so many of my courses. Statistics isn't for everyone, but I hope to help students expand their knowledge or gain confidence in using it for a class. While at NYU, I worked as a data analyst for a clinical trial and as a biostatistics intern. I am skilled in R studio for statistical and epidemiological analysis. My goal is to help students perform their best by becoming comfortable with the concepts.

I'm a freshman at the University of Chicago studying Fundamentals and Political Science with a 3.9 GPA. I earned a 36 on ACT Reading and a 35 on ACT English, and I specialize in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and humanities subjects. I began tutoring in high school and founded an after-school tutoring program to support younger students academically. Through that experience, I learned how to break down complex material, adapt to different learning styles, and help students build confidence alongside skills. As a tutor, I focus on teaching students how to thinkhow to read closely, organize ideas clearly, and approach challenging material with confidence.
