I am a veteran teacher with 24 years experience in the public schools. I am a graduate of Gettysburg College and Lehigh University. Over my career, I have taught diverse learners of varied academic abilities and backgrounds. My students have always met or exceeded their growth measures.I am excited to meet and work with you!!

I have been teaching 7th and 8th grade Mathematics for several years. I am a Texas certified 4th-8th Mathematics teacher. I will be obtaining my Master's Degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce in August.

I am a teacher at heart! I have learned many things through teaching. I believe our students teach us how to keep our hearts, minds and perspectives open. The world will continue to become a better place with the spread of education. I am a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Computational Media (A hybrid degree between Liberal Arts and Computer Science), with a focus in Intelligence and Game Studies. I am working towards getting into the Digital Media Masters Program at Georgia Tech as well, with a focus on Game Artificial Intelligence. I also studied and did research into Augmented Reality and other Interactive Media technologies. Throughout my five years in college, I was a Teaching Assistant (and even Head TA) in various Computer Science classes, holding office hours weekly and helping to write and plan course material in 1st year, 2nd year, and 4th year level courses. If I had to pick a favorite subject to teach, it would have to be Game Design and Programming, as that is one of my own passions. What really drives me to teach is helping other people achieve in spite of obstacles they find themselves facing, helping them find techniques to learning that they can use, and helping them achieve success through their own power. In turn, I have the chance to improve my own knowledge and understanding of the subjects through helping them. I am a vary adaptable tutor, willing to try many different modes and methodologies of teaching to help a student understand the underlying principles of subjects, rather than memorization (unless it is called for). As for interests and hobbies, I like to help design Video Games and Tabletop Role-Playing Games and play them, and help running fan conventions (such as MomoCon or DragonCon) across the Southeast.

I am a second year student at Emory University working towards a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics. I tutor in all levels of physics and math, and specialize at the high school AP and SAT level. I have hundreds of hours of experience tutoring in these subjects, and I love to help my students see the beauty in physics and mathematics.

I graduated with a BA from Allegheny College in 2019 with a double major in English and Theatre and a minor in Education Studies. While I was at Allegheny, I was a tutor for the America Reads program where I was a classroom tutor in all subjects for a 6th grade class for all 4 years. I then graduated from Pitt's MAT program in 2020, and earned my English 7-12 Teaching Certificate,and completed my student teaching in an 8th grade Language Arts class. This year, I have been a long term substitute in a 6th grade English class for the entire school year. I also have experience tutoring for SATs and up through 8th grade level math. My main interests are in English and Literature, but I also enjoy Theatre and Drama, skiing, traveling, and knitting. I would describe myself as energetic, hardworking and friendly!

I am a University of Missouri - Columbia graduate, and umpire for minor league baseball. I started teaching because I genuinely enjoy math (even though I haven't always) and believe it is important for students to excel in math.

My Economics study is Macro and Finance oriented, with my senior thesis focused on the financial markets and statistical arbitrage.As a tutor, my focus will be on the standardized tests, Economics, and Mandarin Chinese.
