I am a graduate of Arizona State University. I received a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Minor in Chemistry with honors. I have tutored students of all ages, from the 7th grade all the way up through college level. I tutor a wide variety of math and physical sciences, but my particular passion is chemistry. I greatly enjoy helping students grow their confidence in the physical sciences, and hope to instill a passion for the STEM fields in students. Earlier in my schooling, I spent two years as a camp counselor and a year regularly babysitting, so mentoring has always been a part of my life. I also have experience as a part of the Best Buddies organization during high school, and so I have some experience with special needs students as well.

I have been teaching chemistry to college students since last 10 years and fortunate enough to work with diverse groups of students both in the United States and abroad. This experience helped me to recognize students' strengths and weaknesses, and bestow focused support in their learning. I am very approachable and never disparage my students for not knowing something. Outside of academia, I like traveling to different places to enjoy nature, and make new friends and learn about their cultures and traditions.

This is a great position for me because my plan is to become an Optometrist in the next 5 years! I was also a tutor for an organization called AVID, which is a college preparatory course for high school students, for about a year and I also have experience tutoring freshmen in college while leading them into a healthy-eating lifestyle. So, I have tremendous experience tutoring varies students. During my career in industry, I had become interested in display monitor technology for education and worked leading to development of high-definition display screens. I hold 22 issued patents and many peer reviewed publications. We formed a small company which has produced display products for over 30 years and did joint Research and Development internationally.
