I was born in Shanghai, China and stayed in Shanghai through high school before I attended Carleton College, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Cross-Cultural Studies. I am a native Chinese Mandarin speaker. During my 4 years at Carleton College, I worked as a teaching assistant with the Chinese Language Department. I tutored students on a one-on-one basis to help them improve their spoken and written Chinese language abilities. My way of teaching is extremely flexible, catering to the student’s need.
