A recent graduate of Carleton College with a B.A. in economics, I am currently pursuing my M.S. in Geographic Information Science at Saint Mary's University. Since education wasn't easily accessible to me through elementary school, very early on I had to learn how to love learning and teach myself. Even after many years of more formal education I haven't lost that spark and that ownership of my education yet! I love tutoring because it allows me to bring people into that same kind of ownership of their knowledge. I love tutoring all sorts of different subjects, but I have the most experience (and maybe the most love) for tutoring in calculus, French, Arabic, English as a second language, and test prep!

I have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. I am starting a part-time lecturer position at Paul Quinn College in the fall for General Biology I lab and lecture. I love to learn and teach.I read books, play board games, and do puzzles in my free time.

I am currently a student at the University of South Florida where I am working towards a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. During my studies I have taught many of my peers through group study sessions. I have been thanked by several of my classmates for helping them understand concepts that they did not understand from lecture alone. I tutor both math and science spanning over many different skill levels. I also tutor students in preparation for standardized tests including ACT and SAT math, and ACT science. I really enjoy watching my students improve over time and seeing them reach their academic goals. I am a big proponent of education and learning by doing. This includes a lot of practice and interactive games along the way to spur interest in the subject of study. Outside of tutoring I enjoy playing and watching sports, and occasionally flying around the St. Pete and Clearwater area.
