I am a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History and Modern Languages: French. I have lived, studied and worked in France. Since graduation, I've worked as a community organizer, often focused on international issues and have traveled extensively inside and outside the US (Haiti, Mexico, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Jerusalem/West Bank, Nepal; on the African continent, Benin, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania; also Ireland, U.K. and continental Europe.) I have taught high school (Chicago) and served as Director of a Chicago Learning Center overseeing GED, ESL and Adult Basic Education programs. I volunteer weekly at the Nursery at my church, with pre-school children. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about French, International Studies, Politics, History, English, and Literature. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (of course) and am a visual artist working in oils, pastels and charcoals. I studied studio art at the School of the Art Institute.
