Certified Tutor

I graduated from MIT with a Master's in Computational Science and Engineering, and I'm originally from Miami. My passions --languages, mathematics, medicine, and volunteering-- have always driven my pursuits. During my undergrad at the University of Miami, where I studied Biomedical Engineering, I started a robotics club that allowed me to bring innovative ideas to life, even showcasing our projects at the Frost Museum of Science. Now, I work in an anesthesiology lab at MIT, associated with Harvard and Harvard's teaching hospital, where I get to blend my interests in medicine and engineering. I also love teaching, particularly in subjects like English, Spanish, Portuguese, Mathematics, and especially the MCAT's Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills section, where I excel, though I do well in all the subjects. When I'm not working or teaching, you can find me playing volleyball, training dogs, or programming robots that respond to biosignals like brain waves or muscle movements. Ultimately, my goal is to change the world through an MD/PhD, and I'm guided by the belief that the dedication we put into our work today shapes a better, more impactful tomorrow-- a philosophy I hope to show my students through example.
