My approach to teaching is very patient and practical, given that I want my students to know how to handle everyday situations. I want my students to feel very positive about their learning experience and to know that errors are just a part of the learning experience. I have a lot of experience and can find easier ways for a student to understand difficult concepts. My students find me very kind and compassionate with a willingness to "meet them where they are" in order to give them the best opportunity to read, write and speak the language.

I enjoy entertaining here at my home and being with friends and family. I love Latin music and love to dance. I read a good bit. I like teaching, learning and travelling. I am generally not a homebody, preferring to be working.
