Hi! My name is Andy Szatkowski. I am a total math nerd. I began my college career in computer science, then moved to electrical engineering, and finally settled in with math. I liked it so much, I went on to earn my masters in applied mathematics. I like to think of myself more as a problem/puzzle solver than a mathematician.

I've combined my math and computer science skills working for a software startup. Our mission is to facilitate the transition from the old educational model, to a more individualized, competency or project-based curriculum. My passion for education, in particular, my passion for making education both accessible and engaging for EVERYONE runs deep. I can sympathize completely with students who struggle for any variety of reasons, and love to find ways to help them navigate these challenges.

When I'm not math-ing I like to spend my time defying gravity rock-climbing, playing the guitar, cooking, camping, and hanging out with my son.
