Certified Tutor
I have been tutoring to some extent or another since I worked for the Granite School District Homework Hotline in my senior year of high school, 1999-2000. Those years of experience have taught me the broad range of student needs, and the skills to help most of them. Whether you need a concept explained multiple ways before you get it, need help building confidence, are in a time crunch and just need the highlights, or just need someone to act as a student's equivalent of a personal trainer, I can help you do better.
The subjects that I am most skilled in tutoring are physics, mathematics, and machine learning because they are the subjects relevant to my degrees: B.A. cum laude in physics with math minor from University of Pennsylvania, M.S. in physics from UCLA (particle field theory), and Ph.D. in physics from UCLA (astrophysics). In the realm of mathematics, I can handle any level from pre-algebra up through mid-college level vector calculus, partial differential equations, complex analysis and linear algebra. For physics I can teach high school level all the way through any college level, and first year graduate electricity and magnetism or quantum mechanics.
