What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy revolves around encouraging students' autonomy to tailor my approach to their interests, learning styles, and background knowledge, and to support and facilitate their active engagement with the material and participation in the learning process.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
The first session is really about getting to know each other, what works best for the student, what they're interested in, what they already know, what they want to learn, and how they want to approach the material, and we go from there.
