Certified Tutor

As a tutor, I like to give to my students the necessary tools, resources, and explanations to help them archive their academic goals, grades, test or assignments. In the case of math, I like to hear first what the students expect out of the session, then I try to test their knowledge in the subject, and base on this questions I would have a context of the understanding of the students. Afterwards, I would try to cover as many examples, done by the student and/or me, related to the student's academic goal so that the student can formulate the necessary questions to understand the subject better. Finally, I share exercises and material for the student to practice.

When tutoring languages(Spanish and French) , I like to discuss the academic goals and assess myself that the students has the necessary knowledge and practice to archive his or her goal. Practice is key to learn a new language that is why I try to share with my students the most up to date resources.
