Hi, I'm Katie and I'm a Literature PhD candidate at UC San Diego! Since graduating from UCLA in 2014, I've tutored high school students and undergraduate students, studied writing at Cambridge, published a novel, au paired in Spain, traveled through seven countries, and come a little closer to the type of person my high school self hoped she would become. Just like in high school, literature continues to be the thing that makes me happiest. Through working and traveling I've gotten to share my love of books with new friends from around the world, and I'm happy to continue this at home. I tutor because I love helping people and making friends. As a high school student, I took the SAT and ACT three times, as well as ten AP classes. I remember how stressful these were and would love to alleviate this stress for someone else!
