Certified Tutor

I received a B.S. in Psychology with a Geology minor from The University of Georgia in May 2012. After graduation, I moved to Thailand, completed my TESOL certification, and spent a year teaching English as a foreign language to Thai students ages 3-4 and 10-11. Working in the classroom was both fun and exhausting, but I especially enjoy one-on-one or small group learning situations because it allows for the opportunity to target individual weaknesses and turn them into strengths. I am especially interested in tutoring writing and study skills/techniques, or in working with any IB Diploma or Certificate candidates on IB subjects. I myself am extremely passionate about learning and plan to return to school to further my burgeoning career in social marketing through public health. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, practicing yoga and running outside.
