About the class
What does it take to care for injured sea turtles? In this live interactive class, we'll come face-to-face with the patients in the South Carolina Aquarium Sea Turtle Care Center™ and learn about the process of rescue, rehabilitation, and release. You'll meet members of the Care Center team and hear their firsthand stories of turning turtle tragedy into triumph. You'll dive into the turtles' watery world and learn about the important role they play in their ecosystems — and the important role you can play in keeping them safe.
About Selina Bohland
Selina is an Education Instructor at the South Carolina Aquarium assisting in school programs, outreaches, and virtual programming. Selina has been at the Aquarium for over a year and a half and previously worked as an educator and aquarist at a science center in South Florida.
