Teachers, students, and families across the country (and world) can access free, educational resources on Curiosity at Home or join live programming through Virtual Field Trips.

About the class

Explore the flaming, foaming and colorful ways chemicals unite in this high-energy, interactive program. You'll learn to spot the signs of a chemical reaction and be ready to discover the chemistry in our everyday lives. And you'll have the opportunity to perform an experiment of your own with the list of simple materials below and the guidance of the experts from Pacific Science Center.

Optional Materials:
· 2 medium zip top plastic bag
· Tissue [substitutes: tissue paper, toilet paper squares]
· Baking soda
· Vinegar
· Measuring cups and spoons
· Tray or plate to catch spills

Meet your instructors, Fatima and Holly.

Pacific Science Center educators Fatima Kamal and Holly Duskin have led curious minds of all ages in groups ranging from classrooms, to museum visitors, to summer camps, and now virtual field trips. With backgrounds in education and hundreds of hours of experience in planetariums, Holly and Fatima have logged thousands of virtual space miles.
