About the class

What’s the buzz about bees? Find out in this live, interactive program! We'll compare different types of bees, discover why bees are important, and investigate what's happening to bees worldwide. We'll also generate ideas to help save the bee population.

Meet your instructor, Calais.

Calais Thomas has been educating herself and others about animals for the past eight years. She has worked with animals ranging from elephants to snails and anything in between! At Butterfly Pavilion, her work in developing and leading programs onsite and virtually connects all ages to invertebrate animals.
