Hey my name is Allen, and I'm passionate about helping students turn their weaknesses into strengths. I know how challenging it can feel when a concept doesn't make sense at first, and I enjoy finding ways to make it finally click.

My Tutoring Philosophy:
Every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to fit each person. I start by identifying what each student already understands and what feels confusing, then build a plan around their natural learning style. Some students learn best by visualizing problems, while others improve through repetition or verbal explanation. For example, if a student struggles with algebraic equations but understands patterns well, I'll help them recognize consistent relationships between numbers before jumping into formulas. Once they see the logic, the equations start to make sense. My goal is always to make learning feel less like memorization and more like problem solving, something the student can actually own.

My Credentials:
I'm a University of Florida student majoring in Finance with a 730 SAT Math score. My internship in New York City strengthened my financial and analytical skills, while nearly three years at Target taught me communication, patience, and emotional intelligence. I've tutored students before and constantly work with my two younger siblings, which has made me patient and creative in how I explain ideas.
