My passion for mathematics is deeply rooted in its ability to decode the complexities of our physical world. With a B.S. in Mathematics from Miles College, 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience; I have had the rewarding opportunity to guide students through subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and Calculus. My tutoring philosophy centers on meeting students on the level they are, breaking down challenging concepts into elementary parts to foster understanding and confidence. I believe a working understanding of math can be achieved by a student with the right support and approach. Currently, I am pursuing a degree and career in construction engineering at Arizona State University. I find joy in how projects are constructed, environmental sustainability, and problem-solving real-world scenarios.
