As a graduate with a Master's in Education from Georgia State University, I am passionate about fostering a deep understanding of history and government in my students. With over 20 years of classroom experience and over 2 years of tutoring in subjects such as AP U.S. Government & Politics and AP U.S. History, I am dedicated to creating engaging and supportive learning environments. I believe that history is best understood through dialogue and critical thinking, and I strive to connect historical events to my students' lives, making the subject relevant and exciting. My experience as a curriculum author and my commitment to student success motivate me to inspire a love for learning in every student I work with.

Outside of teaching, I coach track and field and am a head coach of a pole vault program. I also enjoy road cycling, hiking and anything outdoors. Chances are, if I am not reading current events, you'll find me on the track or outside in woods.
