As a dedicated educator from Spain, where I was born and raised, with a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, I bring over 15 years of diverse experience in both tutoring and classroom teaching. Over the course of my career, I have specialized in AP Spanish Literature & Culture, AP Spanish Language & Culture, Spanish language instruction at multiple levels, and Conversational Spanish. I have also served as an AP Reader for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 exam cycles, an experience that sharpened my ability to guide students with insights into the skills and strategies valued on national assessments. This breadth of experience allows me to support learners of all levels, from beginners seeking a strong foundation to advanced students preparing for rigorous academic challenges. My teaching philosophy is centered on creating a supportive, dynamic, and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and grow at their own pace. I believe that language learning goes beyond grammar and vocabulary; it is an invitation to engage with culture, history, and human connection. To that end, I design engaging, tailored lessons that not only strengthen academic skills but also foster confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love for the Spanish language. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling and immersing myself in diverse cultures, experiences that continue to deepen my own understanding of language and enrich the content I bring to my students.
