As a current medical student with a Bachelor's in Biology from the University of Rochester, I have over 5 years of tutoring experience across a range of subjects, including AP Biology, Algebra, college level natural sciences, and SAT preparation. In addition to subject tutoring, I also guide students through the college and medical school admissions process, offering support with applications, essays, and interview preparation. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel empowered to explore complex concepts and develop critical thinking skills. I strive to connect with each student individually, tailoring my approach to their unique learning styles, goals, and aspirations. My enthusiasm for science and mathematics is matched by my commitment to helping students succeed academically and navigate the often overwhelming admissions journey. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy poetry, cooking, spending time with friends, and taking walks, which bring balance to my schedule and keep me energized for my students.
