Get to know me! I have a Bachelor's degree in Writing and Rhetoric from Salisbury University, where I also minored in Philosophy and Pre Law. I love literature and writing, and I have been published twice for research essays. During my time in college, I worked with freshman students as an upperclassman to help with the transition of high school writing to college-level writing. I believe that the basic writing skills students are taught in high school are good building blocks for college and professional level writing skills. Research, outlining, thesis writing, quoting, citations, proofreading and editing are all skills that contribute to a better overall essay, and I would love to help your student build those foundational skills. Getting a good grade on an essay assignment is a fantastic goal- but improving your overall writing skills that can be applied to all future writing projects to help you thrive can be a fantastic goal too, and I can't wait to help your student in their writing journey!
