I am a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's in Public Health from Georgia State University. My areas of interest include Adult Literacy, Anatomy and Physiology, College Biology, and English across various grade levels. I believe in fostering curiosity and understanding, guiding my students to grasp concepts through relatable examples and memory tricks. My approach emphasizes mentorship, ensuring that each student feels supported and empowered to achieve their goals. Having taught in a unique prison outreach program, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education. I enjoy learning new things and one way I do this is through getting together with a group of friends to play trivia once or twice a week. I also do some part-time, semi-professional work with dogs. In the past, some of my favorite experiences have included volunteering with organizations that train guide dogs and participating in animal-assisted therapy. These activities have enriched my perspective on both learning styles and approaches to teaching.
