In 2024, I graduated from Middlebury College with a double major in Economics and Psychology. A year later, this May, I earned my Master's degree in Quantitative Management and Business Analytics from Duke University.
My passion for education and mentorship has developed through several volunteer experiences over the years. I have tutored students from various backgrounds and levels, including working one-on-one with a middle school student in English and Math, as well as supporting college students in Mandarin during a summer immersion program. These opportunities have taught me the importance to adapt my approach to meet the unique learning styles and goals of each student.
As a native speaker who was born and raised in China until the age of 15, I am excited to bring both language fluency and cultural insight to my Mandarin lessons, where my students can develop practical communication skills and a deeper understanding of how the language works in real-life contexts. I also look forward to supporting students with standardized test preparation like the SAT and GRE, particularly in Math, drawing on my strong quantitative background and perfect scores in both exams to help them build clear, effective problem-solving strategies.

In my spare time, I enjoy ballet, cooking, and movies. I also plan to begin learning some Japanese if possible!
