As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Sociology from the University of Virginia, I bring over two years of tutoring experience across subjects such as Algebra, College English, and SAT prep. My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that learning should be a collaborative and exploratory process. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel safe and empowered to engage with challenging concepts. By employing a scaffolding approach, I meet students where they are and help them discover their unique learning styles, making education enjoyable and relevant. My diverse interests in philosophy and psychology enrich my teaching methods, allowing me to connect abstract ideas to real-world applications. I am dedicated to inspiring students to embrace their educational journeys.

In my free time I enjoy playing piano, exploring musical genres, reading, meditating and spending time in nature. It is very important to me that I am learning and growing everyday and becoming at least 1% better!
