I graduated from Tufts University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Literary and Visual Studies (World Literature) and Environmental Studies. I am passionate about storytelling and the environment, which led to my career in environmental education. After graduating, I spent a year working in Boston as an environmental science teacher. In addition, I volunteered with immigrant high school students through EnRoot, which tutors students to foster classroom success. Then, I moved to Peru, where I work as Education Coordinator for a wildlife rescue center. In this position, I teach ESL, Spanish, and environmental studies. While I tutor a range of subjects, I am most passionate about language and helping students develop robust written and verbal communication skills. Whether working on essay writing for English class or Spanish conjugations, we always have fun playing with language and expanding our means of engaging with the world. I am a curious and enthusiastic learner, and believe in sharing this love of learning and fostering critical thinking skills with students for their success in the classroom, on standardized tests, as higher education students, and beyond. In my spare time, I love to read, garden, spend time with friends, and go hiking or get outside.
