As a passionate educator with over 2 years of tutoring experience and more than 5 years in the classroom, I am committed to making complex social science subjects accessible and engaging for my students. I hold a PhD in Sociology from Mississippi State University, along with master's degrees in Ethics and Public Policy and Forensic Psychology. My teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a supportive environment where students can relate theoretical concepts to their everyday lives. I specialize in sociology, psychology, statistics, and English, utilizing interactive methodologies like games and real-world applications to enhance understanding. I believe in empowering students by demonstrating the relevance of their studies to the world around them. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring diverse cultures through travel and literature, which enriches my approach to tutoring and fosters a deeper connection with my students.
