Certified Tutor

I have an A.A. in liberal arts from Metropolitan Community College. I will graduate dual degreed from University of Nebraska Omaha with a B.F.A in creative writing with a minor in editing and publishing and a B.A. in English. I have tutored English and creative writing from middle school to college aged students. I really enjoy tutoring both these subjects because I'm very passionate about them. Each time I tutor I learn something new as well and it's always been fun working with students who learn to love the subjects as well as I do. As a tutor I try to get to know the students as individuals so I can structure a learning plan that fits who they are. I'm very calm and laid back but really help students find their voice. Outside of tutoring I enjoy walking different parts of the city to photograph hidden gems, paint abstract images, write creative nonfiction and poetry, and help others design their living spaces.
