Certified Tutor

I earned my MHA from the University of Cincinnati in 2018. Prior to that, I obtained a BA in Communication Studies and Political Science. I also have training in Mental Health First Aid and volunteer as a crisis counselor. Along with my academic background, my work experience with diverse populations shape my success as a tutor.

I have online tutored in the past several years in subjects including K-12 Social Studies and Language Arts, and university level Social Sciences and Essay writing. I previously taught in the classroom on the weekends and for a summer enrichment program. My favorite part of tutoring is getting to that "I get it now" moment.

I believe successful tutoring is built upon connections. Getting to know students as a whole and encouraging open and honest communication is a must for a successful learning environment. Flexibility is also essential since education is not "one size fits all". Learning is a journey, and it is my privilege to have the opportunity to be part of it.
