Certified Tutor

I am attending Emory University, where I am majoring in Neuroscience. Throughout high school, I have virtually tutored students across the globe through Schoolhouse.world, including those from the US, Nigeria, India, etc. I've taught Math subjects ranging from middle school to high school Math onward, including Pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-calculus, and Calculus. I have also instructed two SAT Math Prep courses for high school students. Additionally, I have tutored Chemistry and Physics. I think a big part of my teaching involves spaced repetition, teaching units at intervals to optimize knowledge growth. However, I also want to create a more comfortable learning environment, so I ensure that students take productive breaks and do stretching exercises between sessions. Education is so important because it allows students to strengthen subjects they are interested in while also preparing them for real-life applications. I enjoy playing basketball and soccer, hiking, and doing crossword and sudoku puzzles.
